No we will keep funding and borrowing and funding until it collapses anyways plunging the entire world into financial chaos. Were I a foreign treasury secretary I would be looking very hard at how I can get totally decoupled from the American economy so when it goes down I limp along wounded but not dead. Hell Paulson is going to fix it! He is one of them for crying out loud.
