I thought Joe the Plumber was in his yard and Obama was walking through the neighborhood, how can he be a shill?

Tom, my guess is that Obama was coming around, the guy is a Republican, former resident of AZ, and (apparently) a relative of Keating (in a previous post on this thread), he decides to play big shot and throw a little sand at Obama. Maybe he brags about it to one of his relatives, or maybe one of the McCain people saw the video, thought "Joe the Plumber" sounded like good PR, and without further checking into the story, they decide to make a big deal out of it.

Personally, I would not be upset at having to pay an extra $900 if I was making over $250,000. Heck, I'd even throw in an extra hundred to make it an even thousand.

Listening to "Joe"/Sam talk, it becomes pretty obvious that he knows nothing about business or taxes. He didn't even seem to know the difference between revenue and profit!

Yet another example of McCain people shooting from the hip and not doing any research to actually vet the tale they want to push. And of course then they complain when reporters do go and check out the messy details.
