No one will be swayed. People who vote for Obama hate Powell and will continue to do so. People who aren't gonna vote for Obama aren't gonna change their mind cause of Powell.

It will hurt Powell's standing among Republicans and won't help him among Democrats. So it seems like a dumb move on his part if he does it.

If he really believed in Obama, he'd have endorsed him long ago and he'd be in the Obama camp now.
