>>Its not a major news story, no one was killed, and the injuries where minor. But it apparently takes less than that to get notice from the supposedly unbiased mainstream media, when something is said or done against the Democratic candidates or their supporters.

Is Pajamas Media biased? Sure thing. It has a clear bias towards conservatives and Republicans, but no one is claiming that its unbiased. Shouldn't the large supposedly unbiased media outlets do much better?<<

Tim -

When people are shouting "terrorist" and other things at rally after rally, and when McCain is even forced to try to calm his own supporters, that's newsworthy. We aren't talking about isolated incidents.

McCain says that horrible things have been shouted at Obama rallies, but has provided no evidence that such is the case.

To your second point. The people at Pajamas Media evidently believe that the mainstream media is biased. They have decided to fight that bias with their own bias. I guess that's one way to go.

(By the way, I think it's funny that the CEO and founder of Pajamas Media is a Hollywood author and screenwriter.)

Should the large media outlets keep their reporting fair and balanced? Yes, they should. I think most of them try to do that, though some do a better job of it than others.

There is no shortage of media outlets for conservative views. I think the right wing's complaints about media bias are overblown and ultimately self serving.
