Sarah Palin, like any Alaska governor, is certainly more cosmopolitan in world outlook than her insular colleagues in the lower 48.

My Stepfather, who taught high school band in Anchorage for about 30 years, met every president who was in office during that time, because his band played for them when they came through Alaska on their way to everyplace else.

Here's a short quiz:

1. What's the smallest burger served at the Red Dog Saloon? Ans: The Texas Burger. The Alaska Burger serves four people. (No offense Josh).
