All - I just learned another new thing, which I thought I'd share. I learned to never watch Lou Dobbs' show on CNN. The man is an hysterical nutcase. On tonight's show, he said that Joe Biden and Barack Obama are "attacking Joe the Plumber mercilessly." He ranted on about the elitism of people who supposedly want to fight for the average guy. What he showed, before making that charge, was video tape of Obama asking "How many plumbers do you know who make a quarter of a million dollars a year?" Then he showed a tape of Biden saying something about he and Obama being more concerned about real plumbers with a license. I'd say Biden's crack is just stupid, because who cares if the man has a license or not? How is that relevant to anything? But in what way are either of these comments a "merciless" attack? Obama's comment is only a question about plumbers in general, and Biden's comment, though lame, seems quite mild to me. From what I can tell, neither man has said anything else about Joe the Plumber. Is Dobbs always this over the top? And another question, do people really believe CNN is a liberally biased media outlet? Dobbs claims to be "independent" but I didn't hear him utter a word on the show tonight that wasn't coming from a very right wing point of view. I wouldn't mind the conservative viewpoint if he wasn't so rabid and irrational about it. - Allen
