It isn't a scheduled appearance for Colin Powell on Sunday... dailykos.com Meet The Press has cancelled the expected guests and cleared the space for Powell. NBC doesn't do this. So he must have told them something relevant. A McCain endorsement would not be relevant. Powell is a Republican. I don't get those who think that Powell endorsing Obama is anything other than a massive boost, that could be the October Surprise. Whatever cynical Liberals feel about Colin Powell, the fact is that he is revered by the very section of voters that Obama needs to lock in.
