This will be a mirror image of 1980, when a totally disillusioned group suddenly had a dynamic, upbeat one of their own in the White House to set a new direction for the country. Those of us who have suffered through all the BS of the last eight years can finally breathe easier and actually feel good about what is happening in Washington.

Since nearly 90% of the country thinks we are going in the wrong direction now and Bush's approval rating was 25% in the last poll I heard, there should be an enormous sigh of relief except among the ODS crowd, who are already whipped up for 408 years of howling anger.
