we could be on the verge of a major realignment election The collapse of asset values--housing and stocks--plus the near insolvency of the banking system are watershed moments that generally do result in major realignments. Against this, Obama just keeps looking better and better with his obvious intelligence and judicious temperment. All the makings of a sweeping election that gives Dems a clear mandate to govern with. A sweet moment.....
