Wish all the worlds problems were this easy to solve. it's the politics and culture that prevent logical problem solving. most people like to make fun of or stigmatize unpopular ideas. its unfortunate that the same people who see the realistic possibilities are marginalized in our society. hey, sometimes 'weird' ideas turn out to be true. At one point in our history people thought the earth was flat..... check out these microturbines; globalmicroturbine.com Capstone energy systems has developed technology that can burn whatever fuel you need. Bio-fuel, NG, Methanol, diesel. Or look at the Organic Rankine Cycle Infinity Turbine that runs on waste heat. The MAIN reason these technologies (which were developed decades ago) didn't pan out was because it was simply cheaper to drill holes in the ground and extradt crude. Unless you believe that dinosaur oil will be produced forever, eventually we have to do something else. Renewables make sense and nothing beats industrial hemp acre for acre.
