Hopefully Obama will convince Paulson to stick around for 6-12 months as a transition leader; he can appoint his desired SecTreas as the deputy then move him up later. Yikes!!! We couldn't disagree more. Right now, what I've seen has left me hoping both Paulson and Bernanke are sent packing and the TARP buying of mortgage assets is completely aborted. The market has voted on the Paulson plan, it seems to me, and declared it a boondoggle.
