I listened to the call too. I have listened to at least the last 5 cc's and saw no problems except for the Lehman Brothers stuff.

SunPower's panels are the most expensive per watt (you are paying for the highest efficiency) and thus they might take a little bit more of a hit in the market but the new tax credit (ITC) is much, much better than the old law that expires December 31st. The big fear is that the credit markets will be tied up since most installs on residential is via bank loans. Still there is a lot of folks who can afford to pay cash and will install no matter what the market does right now. (I know that I'm doing it next year on my primary residence, I've been waiting about two years for a better law!)

So we just have to wait and see just what the impact is. I frankly think it will be very small and the net-net effect in overall growth in residential installs should increase starting next year over this year.
