A friend and ex-aide said that Gen Powell was extremely "upset" by the "vitriol, bile and prejudice" aimed at Mr Obama on the campaign trail. I know there has been racism but I was not aware that Obama has personally experienced it. I did note in one one vid in Missouri where he approached this guy and I could tell that the guy didn't want him standing near him. Obama got it too and moved away. I didn't see it as racism but what might have been the reaction of a McCain supporter. What have you heard?
