Troy Shaw, >>>Yes, it was quite an accomplishment -- Iomega did a fantastic job. However, KE does not conceive, design, generate specs, engineer, produce, or place products on store shelfs. He merely leads those who do.<<<
I don't really want to take anything away from the wonderful job that KE did in marketing the Zip and Jaz Drives and in leading the company toward profitability and dominance in the high capacity removable disk drive market.
However, I believe, the Zip and Jaz Drives were conceived by someone else. And, I reserve judgement (I'm not betting the ranch)on KE until he can show me that he has the ability to successfully envision, develop and deliver new products into the market place that are entirely from his own doing. (By this I mean what you mean about leading a company in so doing.)
>>>You are wrong. I was there.<<<<
There is nothing like first-hand experience. Could you elaborate a little more on this please. When were you there, what was your capacity, and how did the decision to develop the Zip and Jaz drives come about?
Thanks,
Mary Cluney
BTW: From an investment (mine) viewpoint, I just hope that KE is as wonderful as you think he is. |
