Obama: Campaign Raised $150 Million in September By Byron York Obama campaign manager David Plouffe sent out a note to supporters this morning announcing that the campaign raised $150 million in September. Obviously, that figure blows away all previous records; Obama's previous high was $66 million in August. The campaign says it added 632,000 new donors in September, for a total of 3.1 million donors so far, with an average contribution for the year of $86.
