Because I believe I am my brohers keeper. In any civilized tribe the strong and healthy take care of the weak and injured and old. That is what I believe is moral.

I have seen what bigotry and racism has done to good people. Or those who are injured or have a harder time figuring out how to survive.

I feel it is my moral and ethical respnsibility to help people when and where I can. I believe in common decency.

In the early 1900's, large rich power brokers and robber barrons exploited the common man. Working conditions were just horrible including sweatshops, where little kids,, 9,10 years old worked 14 hours a day.

When unions were strengthened during New Deal in the 30's, they protected the working man and and allowed for the rise of a large middle class. And the country prospered. And so the 50's and 60's, when we had a large middle class people did the best ever.

In 1980 Reagan and the neo cons started taking the New Deal and unions apart.

Social problems are complicated, and my only concern is helping all peoples of the wrold live a better life. Nothing else.

Just trying to be a good person. If that makes me guilty of anything, so be it.
