Bob, you continue to repeat that CO2 capture and sequestration are technologies that do not exist and Obama is a fool to support them.

In fact, CO2 capture and sequestration has been an active area of research for the past 20 years under both R and D administrations. Many different forms of capture and sequestration have been developed and successfuly tested. An existing pilot CO2 capture and sequestration plant is fully operational in Germany, another being built in Norway.

All Obama has proposed is to continue this research and increase funding with the goal of building it at a commercial scale. We are especially lucky in the US as many coal fired plants sit near coal bed where NG recovery can be enhanced through CO2 sequestration.

Like solar cells, hyrbid engines, nuclear power, this is a technology that if we commercialized, the whole world would be banging at our door trying to license and buy.
