I would have felt comfortable voting for John McCain until he chose Sarah Palin as VP.

McCain's choice of Palin highlighted McCain's seat-of-his-pants decision making.

Another example was making a campaign centerpiece out of a plumber, who is not a plumber, who is also a relative of the man who was the largest scandal in John McCain's career. Not checking your facts in such a sloppy way is a telling indication of what to expect from McCain.

Obama is apparently a very skilled poker player. In contrast, McCain enjoys playing dice in Las Vegas, completely a game of luck with no skill. That says all I need to know.

It would be fun to go out on the town with John McCain and hang out with him on vacation. But I wouldn't want him running the country while I was gone.
