roley, there is such a thing as reasonableness and moderation. however, you have highlighted a another mind control tactic used by many cults. the "us and them" mentality. individualism is frowned upon... one is either good or bad. that limits critical thinking from "individuals' b/c they are no longer an "individual" but part of a bigger and better "group."
