If McCain's campaign is any indication of what his presidency would be like, God help us if he wins. He picks a running mate from the hard right of the party, that shows that he is not really a maverick but caters to the same people that Bush catered to for the last 8 years. He can not hide the fact that his policies on most things that matter reflect the same core values that Bush has, and that are responsible for the economic mess that we are in. No wonder he is losing support steadily.
