But some of the other essay writers definitely think it does.

The problem I have with discussing moral values, [besides finding anyone outside of a Priest who wants to do it] is that I start with different premises than they do.

The two premises used by most people are ones outside of themselves. Either "God" or the "State." I start with one inside of myself.

"My highest value is my life. What is good for it is moral. What is bad for it is immoral."

To me, a "moral action" is one that does not interfere with anyone else's property.

I define "property" as a person's life, and all non-procreative derivatives thereof. You own yourself, your ideas, and your secondary property. Anything you acquire morally.

People get so bogged down in challenging my premises that we never get anywhere.
