Barack's Gun Lies

Barack Obama would have you believe he's not anti-gun. He's running ads trying to counter the NRA's ads, while at the same time trying to get the NRA's ads shut down.
Pro-gun Ohio Governor Ted Strickland stated at an Obama rally, "if you are a sportsman, if you are a gun owner, if you are someone that honors and respects the Second Amendment, you have nothing to fear from Barack Obama."
If that is the case, then why has one of the most anti-gun organizations in this country endorsed him for president?
"Senators Barack Obama and Joseph Biden know that we make it too easy for dangerous people to get dangerous weapons in this country," Paul Helmke, president of the Brady Campaign, said in a statement. "They know that our weak gun laws have too many loopholes, which lead to over 30,000 deaths and 70,000 injuries from guns every year.
"Senators Obama and Biden know that we can reduce those deaths and injuries from guns by strengthening our Brady background check system, getting military-style assault weapons off our streets, and giving law enforcement more tools to stop the trafficking of illegal guns."
The truth is that Barack Obama presents a clear and present danger to the rights of gun owners. An Obama administration would work to minimize the Heller case by applying it strictly to single shot firearms, would ban handguns and semi-automatic firearms, and try to institute a national ban on concealed carry. They would push absurd policies such as ammunition "micro stamping" which would price ammunition out of reach for most gun owners, would appoint liberal anti-gun justices not only to the U.S. Supreme Court, but to hundreds of Federal judge posts across the country, and would be supportive of attempts to sign international small arms treaties which would override the U.S. Constitution and remove the Right to Keep and Bear Arms altogether.
OFCC endorsed Senator John McCain for president not because he is the perfect candidate (we strongly disagree with his stance on the non-existent "gun show loophole), but because he is far better than the alternative. With all the progress we have made since the oppressive Clinton administration, we cannot afford to lose it all and backslide further.
