I think if Obama gets elected there is a strong chance of a GOP majority in the House and/or Senate in 2010, ala 1994. If the country revolted to the Clinton's mildly leftist beginning, there will be an insurrection against Obama/Pelosi/Reid once they get on a roll. That is what I am predicting as well. Obama ran left versus Hilliary and then lunged desperately to the center as he campaigned against McCain. His voting record is the most liberal in the Senate and with Reid and Pelosi as co-conspirators, it is highly likely they will "revert to form". Obama id talking "middle of the road" but most Americans can't get beyond the rhetoric and understand that BO has an undistinguished record in government characterized by a very liberal voting record that is far left of the majority of Americans.
