I've noticed recently that most of the electoral maps now show NH as a solid blue state and don't even speak of it as a "battleground" state anymore. But call me crazy .. I just don't see that. And a UNH survey published on Sept 22nd surely doesn't support that premise. I think it will be a tight race here - but I really think that McCain still has a pretty good shot at winning NH. Outside of perhaps Concord, the Seacoast & the MA/NH border towns, I don't see (or hear from locals) evidence of any Obama landslide.

DURHAM, NH - John McCain has regained a slight lead over Barack Obama in the race for President in the swing state of
New Hampshire.
But many voters remain undecided and many more say they could change their minds between now and the
election. The most important issue to voters continues to be jobs and the economy.

....In the most recent Granite State Poll, 47% of likely voters say they plan to vote for McCain, 45% say they will vote for Obama, 1% prefer some other candidate and 7% are undecided. (These percentages include undecided voters who say they lean toward a candidate.) The race between Obama and McCain has swung back and forth over the summer and promises to stay close until the election

I wonder how many other states might not be quite as "blue" as what's being projected on current electoral maps.
