We already HAVE Universal Healthcare Coverage.

If you don't think so, then wait for a serious affliction and go to an emergency room (without insurance) and see if they don't treat you.

You may not be able to pay for it, but SOMEBODY will.

You can't drive a car in this country without car insurance so maybe we should just require everybody in the country to have health insurance. If you don't have health insurance then you can't get a job, you can't keep your kids and we'll lock you up. That should spur some REAL competition in the health insurance industry, just like we've seen in the car insurance industry.
