Assuming the hem phase II trial news is good (fingers crossed, lucky rabbits foot, etc. etc.), XOMA stock price will move upward only if we attract a new analyst and/or land a deal with a major pharm company for the drug.

Doesn't XOMA know the Phase II results at this point? Don't you think they are showing the results to the bvig pharm companies trying to land a deal?

I think that the various newsletters involved in the stock have got about as much of their customers to buy into XOMA as they are going to get. Many are waiting on the "good" news to lighten up on the stock (me included).

So, I'm of the mindset that I may try and sell 20 percent of my holdings before the news comes out. If I could buy some Put options (not currently available to my knowledge) - I would keep the stock, avoid paying Uncle Sam, and buy some Put options to cover the downside risk.

Hope the news is good in November and that Santa Claus delivers the big present we have all been waiting for!!!
