Many Moose, re: "I'm asking a simple question and this is the third non-response I've received. It's incredible. You guys are all convinced Obama is the one, but you don't have any idea what he will do in the most desperate situation imaginable."

Do you really believe that you pick a leader based on the notion that you somehow know what "he will do" in some hypothetical emergency?

No one with common sense would make that leap.

What we do is to pick a leader based on our view of his or her ability to solve problems.

And that means that you consider how intelligent, thoughtful, big picture competent, courageous, decisive, able to surround themselves with and weigh the opinions of competent advisers and motivated they are.

And on those characteristics Obama has shown himself to be superior or equal to McCain in everything except for personal courage; and he hasn't had the opportunity to demonstrate that in a way that John McCain has. Thankfully, neither have most of the rest of us.

So that's your answer; the clues are abundant that Obama will do, as you were told, "the right thing." Ed
