That's one possible definition, but probably not a good description of the conservative political movement in the US, anymore than "willing to accept any change" is a good description of the liberal political movement.

You can argue the definition of conservative if you want or you can make up your own definition, but opposing change is at the very heart of the definition. I have included the number one definition from the first google hit for "conservative definition". And yes liberals are in general accepting of change.
