MM, given the answers you've offered in this post, I'm puzzled why you came over to the Center thread. As I gather from your responses so far, you are saying to everyone who responds something on the order of, never mind, I've already made my mind up.

Everyone here is more than happy to talk with you. But talk is a two way street. You've got to meet us halfway.

Let's take the argument for Bush alienating the world. You say the rest of the world alienated you. But if you recall that alienation began to appear, at least seriously. over the Iraq invasion. Much of "the world" argued that such an invasion only made sense of Iraq had WMDs (the Bush administration never established that Iraq had anything to do with 9-11). And it thus supported inspections to settle the matter before invasion. The Bush administration simply wrote them off, accused them, as you have, of cowardice and other such odd arguments for international diplomacy. And, mistakenly, we now see, invaded.

It now is quite apparent that the "rest of the world" was right and Bush was wrong.

Care to discuss that.
