I try to ask interesting questions, and judging from the responses I get they do provoke quite a bit of thinking.

That last issue about "What would Obama do?" was a sincere attempt to learn your view and that of others. You provided more substance than most.

For me it is more congenial to remain where my point of view is not challenged on every syllable, but sometimes I think it is worthwhile to challenge my own beliefs by querying this thread. So far, I have seen nothing to change my point of view.

Saddam Hussein could have avoided the invasion by simply complying with the requests Bush made of him. He did not do that, so he, not Bush, is responsible for the invasion.
