That assertion holds no water with me. The opposite is true. Obama's supporters are thinking with their emotions.

Well, then you need to support that assertion. McCain is running the fear based campaign; Obama the policy based one. The first appeals, not simply to emotions, but to the worst ones. The Obama campaign appeals to serious discussion of the issues and to the emotion of hope.

So what about either campaign suggests you are right?

As for trying to make certain everyone who is eligible to vote does so, I gather we simply disagree. I'm eager to have a full employment franchise; I gather you are not.
