CTXS

Citrix had a huge day today. However, this stock is overpriced via the PSR model. I recall this issue trading at $14 only 4-5 months ago.

Lets look at the Fundamentals:

TTM, Trailing 12 Month Revenues
9-97: $34.9 MM <------------Great growth, no doubt
6-97: $24.5 MM
3-97: $21.6 MM
12-96: $15.7 MM

TTM = $96.7 MM

Shares out = 29.39 MM
Price = $74 5/8
Market Cap = $2193 MM

PSR on CTXS = 22.6 <----------- Higher than MSFTs

Notes: Investors are paying $22.60 in CTXS stock for every $1 they sell in product. That is insane. What makes their product so special? If I recall, the reason it sold off to around $14 was that MSFT was close to cutting them off? Today's run seems way overdone -- being long this one would scare me a little!

Comments?

Cheers,
Jeff Mills
