My point was that, as a black man, he need not do anything more than get elected Senator to warrant a children's biography. That is a remarkable accomplishment, even if he had never done or never in the future does anything further.

I grant you that, but it hardly qualifies him to become President.

I wish the first black candidate for president had been a republican, because my objections to Obama have nothing to do with his race.
