I think you haven't been reading the polls, if that's what you believe.

See Real Clear Politics, where they report on most of the polls, but exclude the ones done by partisan organizations.

The average of all the national polls they track shows Obama up by 7.2 points at this moment. Well outside the margin of error. One of the polls, by Pew Research, has him up by 14 points.
