I have a lot of Ivy League friends who either don't follow politics or have very uninformed opinions on the issues.

Meanwhile, look at Ah-nuld. The former Mr. Universe probably doesn't have a very remarkable academic record, yet he's governing the most populous state in the Union. Not to mention that he served on Bush Sr.'s Presidential Fitness council. Not that the position really involves anything, but it is a sign that Ah-nuld knows enough about national issues to run for president if only he were born here.
