Rock or Cobble Creek Parkway?..something like that. Rode the bus to Upper Darby shopping mecca many a Sat afternoon, until that first job provided the means to buy my own set of wheels - small white sedan with red interior. Definitely do not miss the literal thrill ride of traveling the expressway across the Walt Whitman Bridge, down the White Horse Pike to home each day. It takes the naivete and recklessness of the early 20s to drive in rush hour urban traffic without blinking an eye. <g> Coincidence - stood under that same historic Lafayette tree which is located close to the Winterthur Museum and Longwood Gardens. Breath taking Andrew Wyeth paintings at the Brandywine River Museum. Isn't this Joe Biden's exclusive area? Then he pretends to be 'the common man.' Other great memories of historic Philly: Betsy Ross' House, the Liberty Bell at Independence Hall and Elfreth's Alley. Doubtful many Americans today are inspired with the same awe when they stroll the historic streets where Geo Washington, John Adams and Benjamin Franklin walked as the Declaration of Independence was being written by Thos Jefferson.
