I read the first 38 pages of that thesis about obama's use of hypnotic methodology in his speeches... I'm very familiar with hypnotic strategies, I wrote my Ph.D. dissertation on specific aspects of clinical hypnosis... the article you linked makes incredible sense, and it is also a very well thought through and well written piece of work, loaded with references... I don't know if obama himself understands it all, but I'm sure his speech writers are very familiar with persuasive speech and the use of hypnotic strategies when delivering a speech to an audience, the marking and leading methods, and have certainly briefed obama on how to deliver his speeches... thanks for the reference, I'm convinced this is what he's doing, and I didn't even know it... it just looked like he has everyone in a spell, but he really does...<g> GZ
