There is nothing in her background that shows that she applied herself academically. She was in the National Honor Society, in high school and the Sigma Beta Delta Honor Society in college. but you would really have to be deceitful to argue that she qualifies on an intellectual basis. That's nonsense. It wouldn't be true if she didn't qualify, or even if she clearly didn't qualify, and its esp. not true given the reality of the situation.
