ESP: Perception by means other than the physical senses.
Maybe logic and common sense can be used. SF is 6-1, every other team in the NFC West has a losing record. SF has beaten each team in the division at least once. They are 14pt favorites against NO this week. I'd say they've got the division locked up with a bye in the first week. They play Dallas in two weeks, maybe again in the playoffs if Dallas makes it. No game against GB this year unless its in the playoffs. I'd wouldn't be surprised if today Vegas can't do better than 3-1 of SF as NFC champions. I'll tell you this much, if they do make it, with the NFC winning the last 13 with a combined score of better than 2 to 1, SF will be looking good.
About the trial, if I had to rely on ESP, I'd tell you there won't be a trail. After numerous delays, this case will be settled (both civil and criminal - criminal, if not dropped entirely as part of the civil settlement, then a plea bargin to a much lessor charge) and all fade away.
Business as usual...if Costello can work for a convicted (emphasis) felon, then the DA can certainly drop charges if which he sees no further political benefit.
It's time to stop being so emotional, and become more realistic. |
