He's right. The point is that McCain is more experienced and better situated to handle an international crisis than Obama.


No, he's not right. Anybody who (correctly) assesses Mac as experienced and skillful in knowing how to answer a provocation with both diplomatic and military tools, will think twice before offering one. After all, the US is a large and powerful country and provocations are a risky business...unless you think the new President is likely to bungle the response. Then the payoff may be worth the risk.
