"their kitchen counters aren't made of granite? That's soooooo mean-spirited ..." Not really. But it is a lie. Like most of the lies, the peddlers didn't know, maybe didn't have any way of knowing. Yet they just made stuff up and presented it as if it were truth. If that isn't lying, what is it? We aren't talking about distortions. Those can happen, even when no ill is intended. We are not talking about misunderstandings or incomplete information. Just flat out making stuff up. Shorty, for example, made the claim that there was no way those kids were on scholarships. That they were the wrong race for that. He claimed he knew people there and that is how he knows. Well, the article claims differently.
