You save on the medicare part of FICA but not on the social security part, no way the IRS lets you declare wages of $30k and a $200k dividend ... though you may get away with wages of $160k and a $70k dividend ... all in all best not to listen to anyone you meet on the internet about this stuff, you could be talking to Grace for all you know.
