I view Southeastern's increased ownership of Sun, and now active participation in setting directions for Sun, as a positive. As a minimum, Schwartz will have to defend his business model re Sun. However, I would hate to see Sun taken private at present distressed stock price. Southeastern also has ownership share in Dell, so conceivably that could factor into its plans for Sun.
