Harris Corporation Signs Federal Systems Integrator Agreement to Resell All NetApp Products to Federal Government

DULLES, Va. and WASHINGTON, Oct. 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Harris Corporation (NYSE: HRS), an international communications and information technology company, has signed a Federal Systems Integrator Agreement with NetApp (Nasdaq: NTAP) to re-sell all NetApp storage solutions and technical consulting services to the federal government. NetApp is a leader in innovative storage and data management solutions and is currently a partner to Harris on the U.S. Air Force NETCENTS program.

"Harris and NetApp now have the ability to work together to pursue new market segments within the federal government, as well as the ability to team on large Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) and long-term programs," said Ted Hengst, president, Harris IT Services. "NetApp is a key vendor in the storage market with very complementary services capabilities. This agreement strengthens our competitive position relative to other resellers and system integrators."
