congratulations on recognizing a bad broker....

My broker called me this afternoon with VERY INTERESTING comment on AMAT... My broker is with PW, I am VERY LONG amat... and really do believe in this company... amat investor relations called the PW analyst this afternoon and said that the quarter WAS shaping up the way PW analyst saw it... THIS IS VERY CLEAR "GUIDANCE" from a FULLY AUTHORIZED REP from amat... furthermore, my broker is not the run-of -the mill shlep broker, but the former CFO of PW... and former head of Trading at MS and PW... he really is a super guy who gave up the top eschelon corporate life for a GREAT life with his family in a business helping people he KNOWS... has MANY millions under management, and this is the REAL thing... I'm lucky to have him both as a friend (he was MY sounding board when recently changing jobs from exec at PW to another wall street firm as a partner) and I would trust him with my assets and my KIDS... its RARE to find a broker to trust in this way, but I met him when he was the CFO and he is a very highly respected exec, and man... BUT, the guidance from amat is real and perfectly OK in terms of notice to the street... PW has amat as a "1" rating, and at 91 cents for the quarter... good luck
