It shows share volume in July, August, and September in AMAT from all the firms making markets in AMAT. Notice Smith Barney, Morgan, and Merrill are highly involved in AMATs markets. Also, note how Goldman has really tapered off its market in AMAT. Something to consider when upgrades/downgrades come in.
