I see you don't take exception at all to the idea you consider yourself a member of the Democrat party.

I mean, you are a registered Republican (I assume).

I vote Republican. I'm sure I must have voted in Republican primary elections , though I don't always and that might mean I'm a "registered Republican".

I started out life thinking I was a Democrat like all my relatives have been as long as can be remembered. Got progressively more bothered by Democratic politicians. Went through a period when I called myself an independent. Now figure its very unlikely I'll ever vote Democrat again.

However, if I ever see a Democrat candidate that reminded me of old-style Democrats like Harry Truman, I MIGHT cast a vote for them just in an effort to keep that breed alive. Its not good for one of our major parties to be so hard leftwing.

Since we've established you consider yourself a member of the Democratic party, are you a "registered" Democrat party member? Or just a vicarious one?
