If you told someone that he or she had to pay $500/year more in taxes, but in return will get an extra $10K/year in services, you would be doing nothing but buying his or her vote using money that you taxed from people you consider to be "rich."

Liberal tax plans are all about getting the most taxes from the least amount of people. There is no "equal sacrifice." Just "from each according to his ability, to each according to his need."
