When was the last time an American President rode down a street in an open-top vehicle?

I remember being in Champs-Elysees right at the time Nicolas Sarkozy was inaugurated as France's "Presidente de la Republique." Total coincidence. I got some photos of him waving at the crowds from an open top vehicle driving down the avenue.

Think we could do the same if Obama is inaugurated, or will he have to ride behind bulletproof glass like the Pope does?
