This may not fit exactly your example's condition, but under O's plan, that fellow might have avoided that surgery all together

Right. And I don't have a problem with it. Apparently, you do.

When some of my fellow citizens' coverage consists of visiting the emergency room, I don't mind sharing, tax dollars or otherwise.
